Emotional healing as part of environmental and climate justice processes: Frameworks and community-based experiences in times of environmental suffering

This paper seeks to discuss the political role of healing practices in context climate and environmental justice struggles. We rely on literature that have identified as a means for liberation from structural oppression physical symbolic violence, humans, non-humans nature – namely emotional ecologies, transformative communitarian feminism. also briefly experience three collectives Mexico, Colombia, Spain who develop strategies way emotionally support local communities exposed territorial, environmental, impacts injustice. argue by further addressing dimensions justice, researchers, activists, practitioners could expand conceptualisation (a) spatial temporal scales engaging with inter- intra-generational implications injustice, (b) multidimensional nonlinear collective process.
